Provisional license holders
CBT is the first step to riding a motorcycle or scooter on the road. This one-day course covers basic controls, safety, manoeuvres, road positioning and hazard awareness. After completion, riders can legally ride with L-plates for up to two years.
CBT Certificate holders
Earn your full licence with expert-led training designed to help you pass both DVSA modules with confidence.
Full License Holders
Our Advanced course is a full day of 1-to-1 coaching focused on building confidence, control and advanced real-world riding skills for qualified riders.
About Us
My name’s Peter McKay and I am the founder of 121MotoSkills. My passion is all things motorcycling. Through my experiences, I saw the need for a school which was convenient, cost-effective and would help motorcycle riders like you become a more skilled and safer motorcyclist.

If i could give 6 stars Easily the best instructor In Aberdeen if not the Uk. If i felt like i was struggling with something it was explained to me until i felt comfortable doing it, he not only taught me how to ride a motorcycle he made me feel confident and comfortable on one. Definitely recommend doing your course here!
Pete is an excellent instructor. Very concise and clearly has his trainees safety and best interests at heart. Carlie popped along and she was lovely too
I can’t thank Pete and Carlie enough! I genuinely passed my MOD‑2 exam with zero faults thanks to Pete. As my foreign licence was close to its expiry date, Carlie stayed in constant communication with me and managed to arrange a DAS course within a very tight timeframe. Although this is only my first year in the UK and I already had some motorcycle experience, Pete helped me gain truly valuable skills. We even started training at 7 a.m. due to the exam time, and he patiently and clearly showed me all the routes right up to every critical point. The feedback was excellent, and honestly, I can say I passed MOD‑2 entirely thanks to this. Regardless of skill level, Pete’s approach is incredibly professional and great fun at the same time. I would absolutely and highly recommend them. I’m sure we’ll see each other again!
I recently completed my CBT bike test with 121 Motoskills and honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the whole experience was professional, well-organised, and really enjoyable. A huge shoutout to Pete, who was an absolutely amazing instructor.
